Hazel's Light is locally owned by Julia and
Benny Lewis.
It is a "Type B" assisted living, which
means that our residents do not have to be
able to "transfer" (e.g., get in and out of
bed) by themselves, but they may not be
bedridden for at least 10 days after
admission. In addition, we require that
residents be generally nonviolent, and that
they do not wander away from the house.
We provide assistance with "ADL's" -
Activities of Daily Living - including eating,
bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping,
and medications.
Our maximum capacity is 6 residents. We
offer a homey atmosphere with excellent
care.
We are a member of the McKinney
Chamber of Commerce.
